24th March Update:

Congratulations to all runners who travelled south to Kent last weekend to take part in the English Schools' Cross Country Championships. Performances were outstanding with both Boys & Girls teams winning the John Hedge and Nottingham trophies in their respective categories. Special mention of the Senior Boys who won the Wigan Trophy for the first complete team to finish, all eight runners. Also some great runs with individuals finishing in the Top Twenty - Millie Breese SG-12th; Josh Blevins SB-11th; Tom Slane IB-20th; Oliver Calvert JB-12th and Oliver Tomlinson JB-16th.

We are grateful to all Team Managers who worked so hard in giving support to our athletes. Helen Buist & Chris Johnston for all the paperwork. Kevin Flannery, Kieran Flannery, Rachel Smith, Kerry Old and Claire Parkin who travelled with the Northumberland teams.
