RESULTS:
Owing to the extreme weather conditions it has not been possible to produce an accurate set of results, and it would be very unfair on runners to publish it. Raw results have been emailed to teachers so that pupils can get some idea of how they performed on the day. CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERYONE WHO PERFORMED BRAVELY IN SUCH TORRID WEATHER.
EVENT DETAILS & GUIDANCE TO TEACHERS:
Please be sure that your pupils can run (not walk) the required distances before entering them. We do understand that some runners will falter on the day and will require assistance. Setting off too fast at the start of the race often becomes a problem later on. We want the event to be a happy experience for all children. Additional runners will be issued with separate number bibs.
