IAN SEVERS AWARD:
Congratulations to Noah Penfold on his Year 6 Boys 800m performance of 2mins18.5secs. Only 0.5sec outside Ceri Rees's CBP set in 1984.

As last year's winner, Olivia Murphy, hands over the Ian Severs Award to Noah Penfold's coach, Mel Carr.

Olivia herself set a new Championship Best Performance this year in the Y8 Girls 1500m of 4mins 41.0secs, knocking 6 seconds off the 1979 record.
